7.5 month puppy reunion!

The “cereal litter” pups are about 7.5 months old and had a reunion in the dog park today!  (5/7 pups could make it, but we missed our two light yellow boys, Wheatie and Mingo/Kix) It was fun seeing how all the puppies that used to fit in the palm of a hand are now big playful teenagers!  Its so interesting how Copper (Cheerio), used to be the smallest pup, and is now definitely the biggest:)  Enjoy the pics!

If anyone would like a larger version of certain pictures, just let me know!

And they all go home…

All of the puppies are now happily at their new homes.  We’ve seen a few of them since they’ve gone home and know they are doing well, being loved and growing fast.  Some of the pups have new names, some families have chosen to keep them the same.

New postings to LovaLab will be less frequent for a while, but hopefully we’ll be able to update the site with some pictures as the puppies grow up.  Also, there is a possibility that we’ll do this all again next spring/summer, so if you “follow” the Lovealab blog, you’ll be the first to know if and when something’s happening.

And remember the 2013 puppy calendars.  They look wonderful.  Email us if you’re interested in one and we’ll give you the details.

For now, here are the last pictures of the puppies for a while with their new families and their cereal box namesakes.

Ciao,

Update: 1 pup available (now sold)

One prospective puppy owner recently changed their mind about taking their pup home — So, Puffin is available again!  Puffin is a classic black male labrador with a beautiful blocky head.  He would be a excellent hunting dog or a wonderful family pet.  He is a very polite puppy and absolutely adorable!  Here are some recent pics of him (Puffin has the blue collar)!

Update:  Puffin is sold!

Ps. The next post will feature all the puppies with their new families 🙂

Day 54

Today, the pups begin going to their homes.  It will be very bittersweet for us!  We are so happy to have found great homes for all our pups, but after seeing them born, grow up, and develop their own special puppy personality, letting them go will be hard.  Hopefully we will keep in touch with the puppy owners (most are in Boulder county) and have puppy play dates every once in a while:)

PS.  If anyone is interested, there is a puppy calendar in the works:)  Email lovealabpup@gmail.com or ask about it when you come by to pick up your pup!  (Small size (8.5″x11) will be about $20, and the large (11.5″x14) will be about $30)

Here are probably the last pics of all the puppies together!  😦

Day 50

Here are some bath time pictures!

Day 49

This is what happens when I get the camera out now… so feisty:)

Our litter is 7 weeks today!  How have they grown so fast!?  It seems like yesterday their eyes weren’t even open, and now they are playing with tennis balls!  We are back home and the pups will be getting a puppy bath today.  They are a little dirty from all the dust and dirt at our cabin.  Those will be fun pics and should be up tomorrow!  But in the meantime, here are some more cabin pics because there were just so many cute ones:)

Day 47

Here are a bunch of pics from the last few days!  The puppies are becoming much more coordinated and mature.  They get to go exploring with us in the woods around our cabin.  Some like it more than others — Cocoa-puff and Wheaty are probably the most excited about these walks!

Weaning is going well for the pups.  They love their puppy food and are always looking forward to eating!  They also love to drink water — all out of the same bowl at the same time:)

(Ps.  Trix has the purple collar and Puffin has the blue)

Day 44

The pups are loving all the new things they have to explore.  The tall grass is so wild!  They also have a new game they like to play.  It is called “king of the box top”.

Day 42

Puppies are enjoying their vacation at our cabin in the mountains!  They went for their first little hike today — So much to smell!

Day 41

More pictures!  Whenever I wake the puppies from their nap to play or take pictures, they always have the longest yawns.  It’s fun to see how many yawn pictures I can snap:)  We introduced them to a kiddie pool yesterday!  Trix and Cheerio liked the water the most!

The puppies least favorite part of the day is when we take them in at night.  They definitely do not enjoy the confinement of their box!  The loudest complainers are usually Wheaty and Cocoa-Puff:)

Finally… ALL the pups from this litter are now SOLD!  We are very thankful to find such loving families and homes for all 7 of our puppies.  Thanks!
